As the Grand Prize winner of the "Color It Red 2016" photography competition, Eduardo Fujii was featured in the March/April 2016 issue of Shadow & Light Magazine, a bi-monthly online publication launched two years ago by photographer Tim Anderson, publisher/editor of Red Dog News and former managing editor of CameraArts Magazine. Shadow & Light Magazine has a primary focus on fine art photography and offers valuable information about a variety of topics, including photographers' portfolios and interviews, in-depth articles, and book reviews.
Ann Hart Marquis and Pat Berrett, the jurors of the 2016 edition of the contest, congratulated Eduardo for his "very compelling portrait 'Ashley'." They commented that "as a stand-alone portrait, it speaks for itself. As a possibly historical image, the frame and the presentation contribute to making it timeless."
Color It Red 2016 was the fifth annual edition of Red Dog News' very popular photography competition. Red Dog News publishes a bi-weekly international mail newsletter whose primary purpose is to provide photographers of all level great exposure by showcasing their work to its extensive list of more than 10,000 readers and subscribers in more than 128 countries including curators, collectors, gallerists, and photography peers and professionals.
